Combined Eastern region business will provide an end-to-end route from medical device concept to international commercialisat
SUFFOLK, EAST ANGLIA, UNITED KINGDOM, September 16, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Medovate and JEB Technologies are to become one company, combining their teams, operations and expertise under the Medovate name.
The combined expertise across both companies will become part of an expanded offering spanning medical device design, development, manufacturing, regulatory approval, international launch and commercialisation under the Medovate name and brand.
The combined company will officially launch by 21 September 2026, alongside a new Medovate website.
The move follows two years of close collaboration between the businesses, during which their products have launched in more than 12 international markets, including the USA, Australia, New Zealand, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and several European countries.
Operating as one company will create a single end-to-end medical device development and manufacturing business. It will support clinicians, innovators and medical technology companies throughout the full development journey, from an initial idea through to manufacture and international market launch.
Medovate will also offer contract manufacturing services to companies looking for an experienced partner to develop and manufacture their medical devices.
Craig Sturdy, International Distribution Manager at Medovate, said:
“By bringing JEB Technologies and Medovate together as one company, we are combining manufacturing excellence with the development and commercial expertise needed to take promising medical innovations into clinical use in many countries around the world.
“Operating as one business will allow us to make better use of our combined resources and work more efficiently. Importantly, it will give clinicians, innovators and medical device companies access to the expertise they need throughout the entire development journey, all within one organisation.”
Stuart Thomson, Vice President of Business Development at Medovate said:
“This next chapter strengthens our ability to deliver medical innovations that improve patient safety around the world. It also provides a strong platform for further medical technology advances where our plans include new international product launches in 2027 and beyond.”
The partnership between Medovate and JEB Technologies has already helped to streamline product development and manufacturing by bringing the two capabilities under one roof. It has enabled the teams to develop and commercialise several products simultaneously and promote their products and services at international healthcare conferences and exhibitions.
The combined company’s current portfolio includes SAFIRA®, a system designed to help improve safety during regional anaesthesia, and CamPROBE®, a simple and cost-effective solution that is intended to facilitate transperineal prostate biopsies under local anaesthetic. Products currently in development include LumeVac and TransiCap.
Medovate plans to secure regulatory approval for a new medical device and launch it in the USA and Europe during 2027. Further products are expected to progress towards regulatory approval and international launch in 2028.
