September 19 Event Benefiting EveryCat Health Foundation to Feature CAT MAN Documentary Screening, Filmmakers Allisyn and Dylan Snyder, and more.
LOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, September 9, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Actor and filmmaker Joey Luthman will take on a new challenge for a cause close to his heart at “Joey Jumps for Cats” on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Glendale City Seventh-day Adventist Church in Glendale, California. Luthman will attempt to break the Guinness World Record for “Most Jumps on Pogo Stick With No Hands” while raising money for EveryCat Health Foundation and its work advancing feline health research.
The challenge is the latest chapter in Luthman’s ongoing “Joey’s Journey to One Million” fundraising mission. In 2025, Luthman traveled cross-country from California to Maine on a OneWheel electric skateboard to raise funds and awareness for feline chronic kidney disease and cancer research. That journey is chronicled in the documentary CAT MAN: Journey to Save Cat Kind, which will screen at the September 19 event prior to the world record attempt.
Filmmakers Allisyn Snyder and Dylan Snyder, who directed, produced, and edited CAT MAN, will attend the screening and event. The filmmaking team will also be on hand to capture Luthman’s next CAT MAN adventure. Will Weiner, CEO of XPOGO, will observe the world record attempt as an official Guinness adjudicator.
The free community event will run from 3 PM to 9 PM and feature food, music, games, special guests, and live stand-up comedy. Donations benefiting EveryCat Health Foundation are encouraged.
Special guests scheduled to attend include Allisyn Snyder, Dylan Snyder, E.J. Bonilla, Spencer List, Elise Luthman and Justin Ellings.
The evening will also feature stand-up comedy from Evan Warner, Daniel Alvarez, Willie Macc, Allyson Vastano, Cameron Frost, Silvia De Anda and Clay Newman.
Products from Cat Years and Brook Glass Pet Fountains will also be featured at the event.
