Autonomy broadens its vehicle subscription offerings to include Ford gas-powered vehicles, including the Mustang, Ranger, F-150, Bronco Sport, Escape and Explorer vehicles

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Autonomy, a leader in vehicle subscriptions, today announced that it is expanding beyond its electric vehicle focus to become a broader vehicle subscription platform, adding gas-powered vehicles to its offerings. The expanded lineup includes a range of gas-powered Ford vehicles including the Mustang, Ranger, F-150, Bronco Sport, Escape and Explorer. The addition of these vehicles give Autonomy customers access to a broader selection of cars through Autonomy’s flexible month-to-month subscription model. This expansion signifies an important evolution of Autonomy’s product offering, which was previously exclusively focused on electric vehicles.

The vehicles for the first phase of this internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicle expansion were supplied by Los Angeles-based Galpin Motors and are available in the California market. In the near future, Autonomy plans to work with other dealer partners throughout the country to expand gas-powered vehicle options to additional markets. Autonomy currently operates in Arizona, California, Florida, Texas, New York, North Carolina and Washington.

Autonomy offers a month-to-month, subscription-based mobility solution, similar to a flexible lease but without the long-term commitment and can be secured with a credit card. The process is simple, and the fully digital, paperless and non-bureaucratic process can be completed in just a few minutes. Customers can select a vehicle through the Autonomy app and pay by credit card to access a vehicle on a month-to-month basis.

Autonomy’s broader vehicle portfolio provides an opportunity for the company to service more customers and extend the flexibility of vehicle subscriptions to a larger segment of the automotive market. Autonomy will continue to expand its vehicle portfolio in response to customer demand and opportunities with automotive manufacturers and dealer partners.

The expansion follows the recent appointment of longtime Mercedes-Benz executive Fred Weick as Autonomy CEO.
