This marks The NRP Group’s second development closing in Florida this year and continues the firm’s strategic expansion across one of the nation’s fastest-growing regions.

“This project represents an exciting milestone for our growing presence in Florida and reflects our commitment to creating places where residents can thrive,” said Brett Gelsomino, Senior Vice President of Development at The NRP Group. “From its coastal contemporary architecture to its expansive amenity package and walkable setting within Tradition, every aspect of this development is aimed at creating an elevated living experience for today’s renters.”

“When evaluating new development opportunities, we look for locations where strong population growth, employment expansion and community investment are creating lasting demand,” said Ken Outcalt, Principal and President of Development at The NRP Group. “Tradition embodies all of those qualities. We’re excited to bring a highly amenitized, thoughtfully designed community to this thriving market and create housing that matches the caliber of the surrounding neighborhood.”

Situated on approximately 18 acres, the development consists of 10, 3-story buildings offering a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartment homes ranging from approximately 720 to 1,300 square feet. Every residence will include either a private balcony or a fenced ground-floor yard, providing residents with thoughtfully designed indoor and outdoor living spaces.

Located at 13661 SW Village Parkway in western St. Lucie County, the development benefits from direct access to Interstate 95 and Florida’s Turnpike, connecting residents throughout the Treasure Coast and into Palm Beach County. The community is surrounded by a growing collection of upscale retail destinations, popular dining concepts and single-family neighborhoods. It sits adjacent to major employment centers, including Amazon’s regional distribution facility, Costco’s distribution center and Cheney Brothers’ food distribution campus. Nearby educational institutions and healthcare providers further strengthen the area’s appeal for families and working professionals.

Designed by Group 4 Architecture, the community embraces a refined coastal contemporary aesthetic, blending sophisticated architecture with bright, modern interiors inspired by Florida’s tropical landscape. High-end finishes, expansive gathering spaces and thoughtfully integrated indoor-outdoor environments are designed to deliver a premium residential experience.

Residents will enjoy a best-in-class amenity package centered on wellness, convenience and social connection. Amenities include a state-of-the-art, 24-hour fitness center with both strength and cardio equipment, a resort-style swimming pool, coworking suites and dedicated work-from-home offices, a multipurpose resident lounge with a full kitchen, package concierge and storage facilities, outdoor grilling areas, as well as landscaped courtyards and gathering spaces. A walking trail surrounding the community’s on-site lake will provide additional opportunities for recreation and relaxation.

Development partners include M&T Bank, which provided construction financing.

Florida remains a key growth market for The NRP Group as migration patterns, employment growth and continued population gains drive demand for sustainable multifamily housing throughout the state. NRP recently broke ground on a new 88-unit, deeply affordable housing community, Alora Lofts, in Kissimmee this year. This community provides critical housing for families earning between 30% and 70% of the Area Median Income in the Orlando metropolitan area.

The NRP Group has developed more than 68,000 apartment homes nationwide and currently manages over 33,000 residential units across the U.S. NRP has built more than 6,300 apartment homes in Florida, and currently owns and manages over 1,700 units statewide.

Construction of NRP’s 312-unit community in Tradition is currently underway, with completion scheduled for summer 2028.
