WASHINGTON, DC, UNITED STATES, September 15, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Washington, DC, USA / Beijing, China — September 2026 — The International Society for Advancement of Cytometry (ISAC) and the Chinese Society of Biotechnology (CSBT) are pleased to announce CYTO Connect China 2027, a new international scientific meeting that will bring together researchers, clinicians, shared resource laboratory professionals, biotechnology and pharmaceutical experts, technology developers, and emerging scientists from China, the Asia-Pacific region, and around the world.
ISAC and CSBT-CAC will jointly develop the scientific program and quality standards, with invited speakers expected from China, the Asia-Pacific region, Europe, North America, and other regions.
A Comprehensive Scientific and Educational Program
CYTO Connect China 2027 is planned as a one-day workshop followed by three-day scientific meeting and educational program. The program will feature:
• Plenary and keynote lectures from leading experts;
• Parallel scientific sessions spanning research, clinical applications, technological innovation, and shared resource laboratories;
• Oral abstract presentations and poster sessions;
• Educational programming for researchers and professionals at different career stages;
• The SINO-US Cytometry Workshop, jointly organized by the ISAC Live Education Delivery Subcommittee and CSBT-Cell Analysis Committee (CAC); and
• Opportunities for scientific networking, professional development, industry engagement, and collaboration.
The conference will be hosted locally with the support of the Shenzhen Medical Academy of Research and Translation (SMART), designated by CSBT as the local host organization.
Connecting the Global Cytometry Community
CYTO Connect is an ISAC initiative created to partner with regional societies in delivering high-quality scientific meetings around the world. The initiative builds on the success of CYTO Asia 2017 and the inaugural CYTO Connect Perth 2025, jointly organized by ISAC and the Australasian Cytometry Society.
“China has a rapidly growing and highly innovative cytometry community,” said Jessica Homa, Executive Director of ISAC. “We are excited to work with CSBT to make this meeting a landmark event for the cytometry community.”
CYTO Connect China 2027 will further expand this international network and provide a forum for researchers, clinicians, shared resource laboratories, industry professionals, students, trainees, and early-career scientists to connect with colleagues and leaders from across the global cytometry community.
