This initial phase of vehicles launch in California, with additional Volkswagen models expected to follow as Autonomy responds to customers’ request for greater choice

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Sept. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Autonomy, a leader in vehicle subscriptions, today announced it is adding Volkswagen ID.4 electric vehicles to its line-up on the Autonomy app. ID.4 vehicles are available starting immediately in California to start, with more Volkswagen models expected to follow in additional markets.

The ID.4 vehicles join Autonomy’s fleet that already includes a wide variety of electric vehicles (EVs) including Tesla Model 3, Ford Mustang Mach-E, BMW i4, Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Chevrolet Equinox EV, alongside newly added gas-powered vehicles including Ford Mustang, Ranger, F-150, Bronco Sport, Escape and Explorer models.

Autonomy provides a mobility solution for customers who are not interested in a traditional multi-year commitment or the conventional lease and finance underwriting process. Subscribers pay one start fee followed by monthly payments on their credit card. There is no loan application, no debt added to the customer’s credit file, and posted plan prices do not vary by credit score. Signup is fully digital and takes just a few minutes through the Autonomy app, and title, registration, and licensing are handled for the subscriber.
